Bespoke products for the Courtauld Gallery

We have recently worked with the Courtauld Gallery shop to produce an exclusive range of handmade ceramic brooches coinciding with the Georgiana Houghton: Spirit Drawings exhibition.

The exhibition brings to light the astonishing abstract work of artist and spiritualist medium Georgiana Houghton (1814-1884).

Each of our handmade brooches shows a different section of ‘Glory be to God’ (1864, Watercolour and gouache on paper) a deeply complex and entrancing painting that bursts with movement and energy fueled by Houghton's spiritual encounters. Like with all of our products, each brooch is hand-cut and glazed and once the designs are applied they go into their final firing. The finished product being a colourful segment of Houghton's spiritual vision ready to pin onto your jacket.

Don’t miss your chance to visit the exhibition and gift shop to purchase your very own exclusive Georgiana Houghton brooch, handmade by Stockwell Ceramics. To view further examples of our bespoke products and find out more about the process click here

Georgiana Houghton: Spirit Drawings runs until the 11th September at The Courtauld Gallery, Somerset House, London.
