We were so pleased to receive the exciting news that our range of bespoke plate buttons produced exclusively for the Museum Of The Home Shop have been selected as a finalist in the Best Product Category at this years Cultural Enterprises Awards.

Exclusively created for the Museum Of The Home, each ceramic button features a beautiful plate illustration by Christine Berrie who took inspiration from the museums collection and archives, selecting distinctive designs from different eras.

Each ceramic button is cut by hand using custom made cutters that perfectly match the unique shapes of the illustrated plates. The buttons are then fired and glazed and fired again before the designs are applied and ready for their final firing.

This was a lovely project for Stockwell Ceramics to work on and its a pleasure to see that the buttons have been enjoyed and admired. You can purchase the buttons exclusively from the Museum Of The Home online shop.
